BPW Approves $293,681 in Program Open Space Funds for Cecil County
On November 15, Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. announced that the Board of Public Works approved $293,681 in Program Open Space funds for five projects in Cecil County. The Town of Charlestown will receive $22,500 to replace the pedestrian footbridge that allows access to the town park located along the banks of the North East River. Meadow Park will receive $175,000 to pave the existing roadway/walking track. Spot and Park will receive $33,777 to construct an entrance/footbridge and install modular playground equipment. Rice Park will receive $7,754 to replace playground equipment. Cecilton Park will receive $54,650 to install new ADA compliant playground equipment.
