High like the ceiling in a cathedral
Clear like the mind of a newborn baby
Clouds like random thoughts, floating through the mind
Planes like problems, weighing heavily on my mind
disrupting happy thoughts
Big like the whales that swim,
Powerful and free, through the open ocean
Birds like emotions, random and ever changing
Blue like the sky reflected in my eyes
Reflection like a painting, conveying different messages
Beauty like a song well sung or a basked well-woven
Self like a picture, fading with time
Shiny like a golden platter,
Transporting opulence and greed
Silver like mercury, amorphous and strange
Rectangle like a doorway, a portal to old and new thoughts
Glass like ice, brittle, beautiful, and dangerous
Water like life, more precious than anything else.
