Through the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 08.01.01, Title 08 DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, Subtitle 01 OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY, Chapter 01 Advisory Committees Authority: Natural Resources Article, 1-102, 1-105, and 4-204, Annotated Code of Maryland 4-204 the Sport Fish Advisory Commission has the duty of advising the Director of Fisheries Service on all matters referred to the commission by the Director.  SFAC is comprised of individuals from across the State whom represent the interests of various constituencies in recreational fisheries.  They meet at the Tawes State Office Building in Annapolis, Maryland.

Sport Fish Advisory Meeting

A joint Tidal Fisheries and Sport Fisheries Advisory Commission meeting will be held December 4, 2008 at 6:00 pm in the Tawes State Office Building Cafeteria, 580 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD 21401. All interested parties are invited to attend and give their views. Principal agenda items will be blue crab and striped bass management.
