You have reached Maryland's spring trout stocking web page. Though the spring stocking is finished, the page will be left up for reference purposes. The 2009 stocking schedule is not due out until around February.
The 2008 spring stocking schedule is here. Remember, the information provided through this page is for the spring trout stocking, not the much smaller fall stocking. For information regarding the fall stocking please check the Fisheries Service homepage or Inland Fisheries page for updated information - usually posted the first or second week of October, after the stocking has begun. This spring schedule is the full listing of all locations along with closure schedules.
Maryland anglers can still enjoy trout fishing in many area waters. Be sure to check out the maps linked directly to the full stocking table, not only do the maps provide directions to stocked locations across the state but they also provide some fishing regulations and other useful information. You can also get continued stocking up-dates at 1-800-688-3467.

The DNR trout stocking program is funded entirely by the sale of freshwater fishing licenses, trout stamps and Federal Sportfish Restoration Program (Wallop-Breaux) funds which are generated by anglers and boaters’ tax dollars.
