On July 30, 2008, the Carter Library hosted a New Books Party
to celebrate and promote the new books and DNR publications
acquired in the past year at the DNR library. In total,
over 60 people stopped by for snacks and the chance to review
the new books, and over 30 books were checked out!

In addition to new books, there are many classic titles and
popular books at the DNR library for you to check out.

the library for help finding something that interests you.
The library also collects copies of new DNR publications,
seen here on display behind the table of goodies. Give
20 copies of new DNR reports to the library for cataloging and
distribution to state depository libraries. Read the DNR
