Benefits for AmeriCorps members participating in the Maryland Conservation Corps program include:
- A bi-weekly living allowance.

- An AmeriCorps Education Award of $4,725. The award may be used toward school tuition loans or future education costs for up to seven years.

- Canoe Trip Leading by American Canoe Association certified instructors
