Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program emphasizing wildlife. The program is designed for educators of all types who work with children from kindergarten through high school age.

Project WILD enhances student learning in all skill and subject areas through hands-on activities that fulfill their natural interest in the environment. Project WILD teaches students how to think not what to think. Workshops are provided free of charge, as are the WILD activity books.

Project WILD is a great way to incorporate environmental education into your existing lesson plan, regardless of the subject matter that is being taught. WILD activities can be done indoors or outdoors, are flexible enough to fit almost the needs of almost any educator, and are comprehensive enough so that minimal preparation is required by the teacher.

Project WILD is also great for girl/boy scout troops, 4H groups, and any other youth groups who have an interest and desire to learn about wildlife and the environment.
